Eero Johannes
Eero Johannes is a one-man synthetic funk orchestra. His background as a drummer and a bassist has a fundamental part in building the electronic, “sugarhigh” grooves for the dancefloor.
His first experiments with electronic music started with tracker software, his interests gradually evolving towards midi-oriented
sequencers and playing live. His live performance, always partially improvised, indeed will make both girls’ and boys’ hearts throb. He’s all about crisp electronic cuteness; bass of grime, Miami and chic; topping it off with a keytar serenade.
Lately he’s been working on a new liveset that allows him to control both his visuals & music synced at the same time while playing, providing the audience a new way of perceiving the live-performance.
His debut album was released in September 2008 at Planet Mu Records.

Sac Magique
Sac Magique is an illustrator from the UK who has been living in Finland for the past 4 years. He uses mainly gouache and rubber stamp printing techniques to create images which are filled with monsters and animals, both real and imaginary. Humour is especially important in his work. He finds inspiration in colours, textures, the animal kingdom and idiotic human behaviour. Apart from creating illustrations, he also hand prints postcards, posters, T-shirts and the odd wedding invite or two.

Agent Pekka – a Finnish illustration agency
Agent Pekka, an illustration agency based in Helsinki and the first organization of its kind in Finland, was established in September 2007. Launched during Helsinki Design Week, Pekka currently works both in Finland and abroad, promoting Finnish talent worldwide.
Pekka currently represents 23 of Finland’s finest illustrators: Lauri Ahonen, Jesse Auersalo, Vincent Bakkum, Emil Bertell, Johannes Ekholm, Ville Granroth, Minni Havas, Inka Järvinen, Leo Karhunen, Matti Kataja, Maija Louekari, Sac Magique, Joel Melasniemi, Rami Niemi, Lotta Nieminen, Sanna Paananen, Pietari Posti, Janine Rewell, Miika Saksi, Ville Savimaa, Helmi Sirola, Jani Tolin and Antti Uotila.
Of Pekka’s 23 illustrators, 21 are Finns, and two are Finnish resident expatriates. “We tend to point out the fact that Pekka is a Finnish illustration agency. There is an amazing amount of talented illustrators in Finland, so it’s been a real challenge to keep the number of illustrators we represent at around twenty. While we wanted to offer our clients a broad range of styles, we also wanted to keep the package manageable,” says Pablo Steffa, Managing Director of Pekka.
“We also wanted to create a good balance between the more traditional illustration techniques and current, contemporary styles,” adds Steffa. While agencies for artistic talent have long been the norm in the rest of the world, this is not been the case in Finland. “It has been a very interesting as well as challenging time for Pekka. Some of our local clients were unfamiliar with how to deal with agencies. Nevertheless, the feedback has been nothing but great.
”
Pekka’s award-winning illustrators have served clients such as Absolut Vodka, Adidas, Amnesty International, Burton, EMI Finland, Finlandia Vodka, Finnair, Helsinki Design Week, Kalevala Koru, Levi’s, Marimekko, Music Television, Nike, The New York Times, Nokia, Red Bull, Sony BMG, Volkswagen, Warner Music and World Vision.
